$10 Wall Ledges

What you will need:
2 pieces of wood the same size: I got these for 50 cents a piece in the scrap section at Home Depot
1 piece of wood the same size: I got these for 50 cents a piece in the scrap section at Home Depot
(These can be any size that you want them to be)
Spray paint: $1 per can at Walmart
Wood Glue: $3 at Home Depot
Screws: $2 at Walmart

Begin by painting your pieces of wood.
I made the mistake of first using regular paint to paint them with a paint brush=BAD CHOICE.
They looked terrible.
So I would strongly suggest using spray paint. So much quicker and it looked a million times better!

This is the blog that I used to make these ledges.
She has a great tutorial so here is her link.

After all the paint has dried,
then use the glue to glue one of the small pieces of wood to the large piece of wood.

I also used wood screws to make sure that mine were really secure.
Drill 4-5 screws along the whole board so that they are evenly spaced.

Then do the same thing but connect the small piece of wood to the other small piece of wood.

Hang on the wall and decorate how you desire!
