Do It Yourself Dog Bed

Our dog, Arby, loves sleeping in a dog bed.
But she also loves ripping out the seams of the bed.
She usually leaves the bed alone for about a month and then pulls all the stuffing out.
Each bed is usually anywhere from $15-$20.
I was getting really tired of continually having to buy these dang beds for her.
So, I decided to make my own for way cheap.
It looks cute and turned out great!
Arby loves it!

What you will need:
1 old towel- FREE
1 bag of pillow stuffing- $1-$2 at Walmart
Fabric glue or tacky glue

Start by folding 1 towel in half.

I then cut the fold. But later realized that it would have been smarter to not cut it and just leave the towel as it was. So either way would work.

Then glue 3 of the four sides (or 2 sides if you decide not to cut the towel.)
If you do not want to use glue a sewing machine would work as well and would do the same thing.
I wanted something that my dog would not be able to rip open as easily, so hopefully the glue works for that!

Wait an hour for the glue to dry.
Once it is dry, then add the pillow stuffing to the middle.

Once all the stuffing is in the middle, then glue (or sew) the 4th side of the towel together to form a pillow.

Make sure the glue is completely dry before letting the dog use it.
Arby just loves her new bed, hopefully this one will last longer than a couple of months!

Zayden wanted to try the pillow out too!
