Homemade Banana Bread

What you will need:
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter (4 oz)
3-4 bananas
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla 
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  Mix the sugar and butter together.

Add the bananas, 
and vanilla.
Mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

Mix try ingredients into the wet ingredients.

Then add chocolate chips.

Grease and flour a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Pour batter into the pan.

Cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil.

Bake in oven for 30 minutes.

Remove foil.

Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Test to make sure the bread is done by inserting a butter knife into the bread.
If it comes out clean, then it's done!

Slice and enjoy!
